Paul is from Greensboro and has been actively involved with Alternative Resources of the Triad (ART) and Triad Pride for 9 years.Having nearly 20 years of experience in marketing and branding with American Express and was responsible for Point of Purchase advertising for the US and Canada. While at American Express, Paul served on the first Diversity Council and that was responsible for developing a diversity education strategy that was later rolled out in all new hire training. Prior experience includes serving as an officer and program director for a large statewide non-profit, giving him experience in leading an organization such as ART.
Paul may be seen as quiet, but don’t mistake that as his not having passion for the work of ART and the GLBTQA community. Plans for ART in 2014 is a name change for the Pride Festival to Greensboro Pride, strengthening the organizational structure of ART and developing new programs.
